FOUNDATION YEAR 1 (optional but highly recommended!)

As its name suggests, Year 1 is about laying down the crucial foundations about career trends in the 21st century (Phase A), successful business/ professional communication (Phase B) and most importantly, the academic language skills required by the top universities (Phase C)!

PHASE A - 21st CENTURY JOB TRENDS (EUR 150 - 175)*

What are the most important business trends in the 21st century? How do factors such as the European Union, free trade, globalisation, global warming, artificial intelligence,  robotisation or the ageing population affect our present and future? What career should you choose to have a successful and happy life in our rapidly changing world?

PHASE B - LEARNING TECHNIQUES AND PROFESSIONAL COMMUNICATION (EUR 150 - 175)*

How should you prepare more easily and effectively for your upcoming exams? What are the newest learning techniques? How to communicate successfully? How to nail your upcoming IELTS oral exam/ university application interview/first job interview?

 

This phase will equip you with the crucial skills of successful communication for both academic and work success! Phase B consists of the following three modules: 1. Learning techniques, 2. Interview techniques and 3. NLP (Neurolinguistic Programming) including successful verbal and non-verbal communication techniques. 

PHASE C - IELTS EXAM PREPARATION  AND PERSONALISED ACADEMIC ENGLISH (EUR 250 - 300)*

You will need a strong IELTS exam for your successful application, as most top universities require at least IELTS 7.0 or above in their conditional offers. We will prepare for your IELTS with loads of secret tips/exam techniques and practice exercises. Then, after you have the desired IELTS result, we will start your language preparation for your chosen course.

 

This way, you will have a smoother transition to university and will be able to impress your future professors with a strong technical vocabulary and terminology right from the beginning! This phase includes 10 private lessons incl. study materials to boost your academic English!

PHASE D - BASICS OF INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS (EUR 100 - 150) - optional*

What are the historical/ political and cultural aspects you will need to succeed in a multi-cultural environment both as a student and as a successful professional? What are the differences in working/ doing business with people from Asia, the US, Latin America, the Arabic world or different European countries? What are the customs, habits and cultural nuances -such as body language- you should be aware of in order to maximize your chances of success?  

In this exciting phase we we will dive into the history, culture and international relations of the US, Europe, Asia, Latin America and Africa to give you the most important basics and information  to thrive in the highly globalized world of the 21st century!

PHASE E - BASICS OF GLOBAL BUSINESS (EUR 100 - 150) - optional*

Business and Marketing skills are not just for Business students - whichever course you choose, let it be Law, Hospitality, International relations, Medicine, Engineering, Architecture, IT etc. - it is highly likely that at some point of your life you will set up your own company or counseling practice. 

Business is an art as well as a science. It is a matter of knowledge, talents, judgement and good luck. Fortunately, however, the basics of most business skills are learnable - and that is exactly what we will do in this phase! We will touch upon the key areas of:
 

1. Marketing - Your ability to determine and sell the right product to the right customer at the right time

2. Finance -Your ability to acquire the money you need, and account for the money you receive

3. Production - Your ability to produce products and services at a high enough level of quality and consistency over time

4. Sales - Your ability to get your product or service to the market in a timely and economic fashion

5. Research and development -Your ability to continually innovate and produce new products, services, processes and responses to your competition

6. HR - Your ability to find and manage the people you need, establish personnel policies, training and organizational development

APPLICATION YEAR 2

There are few more exciting processes, than putting together a successful university application, since this will be the base of not only your future but probably your entire adult life! With more than 150 happy accepted students and many admissions officer friends, I already know what universities are looking for! First in Phase 1 we will find the best courses, universities and countries for YOU, based on your dreams, talents and finances. Then, in Phase 2, we will put together the most amazing Personal Statement and recommendation for you, so that your dream universities chose YOU over all other applicants! All the previous preparations will then lead up to Phase 3, where we will tackle the university application systems to successfully apply and then celebrate all your successful applications!!

Our application schedule will have three phases, which I have elaborated based on previous experiences with my students and in order to ensure the best possible results for YOU!. These are at your disposal both in combination and as separate units, according to your needs. The aim is to ensure the best possible offers  based on YOUR preferences and talents.
 

We will apply to a maximum of 10 courses together in your preferred countries and universities - the sooner, the better, since most universities will start filling up their courses from the end of summer.

 

PHASE I. FOUNDATION (EUR 150 - 175)*

4. Finding the best possible universities that match you. I only work with TOP 10 universities so we'll aim high!

5.  Picking the right language exam for you: IELTS vs TOEFL + insider tips on how to your best possible results

6. Ideas on how to strengthen to profile in order to become more attractive in the eyes of the universities

 

PHASE II. PERSONAL STATEMENT, REFERENCE (EUR 250 - 275)*

1. Getting to know the PS or cover letter. What do universities expect and how to give them what they want?

2. Secret tips and tactics to boost your profile for a strong PS

3. PS template - keywords

4. PS template - sentences

5. PS template- paragraphs

6. PS versions 1/2/3

7. PS corrected version

8. Your Personal Statement polished

9. Getting to know the reference

10. Correction/boosting or if necessary even producing the academic reference

11. Final touches, other document prep such as transcripts 

 

PHASE III. FILLING IN AND SUBMITTING YOUR MAX. 8 APPLICATIONS (EUR 300 - 350)*

1. Getting to know the application system(s)
2. Registration to the central application systems:
>>>> UCAS (UK)
>>>> Studielink (Netherlands)
>>>> Optagelse (Denmark)
3. Registration to individual university application systems (Switzerland, USA, Canada)

3. Finalizing your course choices table from Phase I. 
4. Preparing for and going through the different steps of the application systems together
5. Submitting your applications online (maximum 8)
6. Filling in and submitting any other admissions document(s) required by the universities 


PHASE IV. COMMUNICATION WITH THE UNIVERSITIES, REPRESENTATION, 
FINAL TOUCHES BEFORE YOU MOVE (EUR 150 - 200)*

1. Communication with the universities

2. Handling your applications and your offers
3. Negotiation of better terms and conditions with the universities (if necessary and/or possible through my experience, partners and connections 
4. Interview preparation (if necessary)

5. Help with any extra documents or assignments/ essays

6. Help with your scholarship applications

7. Help with your student loan applications 

8. Help with organizing school visits/ open days 

9. Final touches such as finding a flat/job in your new place

10. Help with anything you need - I'm here to help, eventually, usually rather as your friend than your mentor by the end of our program! :)
